There are so many amazing true stories in the world that there is no sense to use imagination and make up the story for the good movie. The film about Brian Banks is one of them and it was ready last year, but its premiere was postponed for this summer.
Sony Pictures Entertainment is bringing us this Christmas a film classic Little Women, with an awesome cast full of great actors and actresses. The movie already has great reviews and the general public is eager to watch it. This film is based on a novel by Louisa May Alcott, a book that has been an inspiration for a lot of filmmakers, but also a lot of young women worldwide.
Before showing the movie to the general public, producers of the Parasite have decided to participate in the major film festival in the world. It looks like that was the right decision because the movie has won a prestige Golden Palm (Palme d'Or) award at the Cannes Film Festival. We have to admit that this prize is not a small thing for this great South Korean film, and it is the first Korean film EVER which won this.
It’s not a secret that I like more “unusual” movies and when I say that, I don’t think about weird ones.. 🙂 Mainly, I like to see some good movies “outside the box”, or outside the Hollywood set of mind. A Hidden Life is one of that kind of movie with a great story, written and directed by a great filmmaker. At the Cannes Film Festival in 2019, the movie was the winner of the François Chalais Award, and it was nominated for the Palme d'Or.

On YouTube, someone made a nice summary of the Harriet Tubman in just one word: “BADASS”. There is no doubt that she is one of the iconic personalities from the history of humanity, not just the United States. Also, it is a big surprise that she didn’t get a movie about her life earlier?! Anyways, that mistake is corrected and we will have a chance to watch the movie Harriet at the beginning of a November this year.

In any case, the newest one, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood has a great story about people and mankind in general.
Three great movie production companies, Paramount Pictures, Skydance, and Jerry Bruckheimer Films are preparing the second part of the cult movie Top Gun! We will see again women's heartbreaker Maverick, but a little bit older in his great airplane performances, betting against all odds as always. Legendary director Tony Scott, who has done the first part, was preparing this sequel as his next project, but unfortunately, the day when he supposed to meet wit Tom Cruise to discuss it, he committed suicide.
It is interesting how some great movies don't get deserved attention from the general public. I would say that Angel of Mine is one of that kind. Interesting story, intense drama with an awesome cast and great official trailer are promising great film.
