The movie is based on a true story about iconic American actress Jean Seberg, who lived half her life in France, but become famous by her performance in Jean-Luc Godards’s movie Breathless and her fight for civil rights.

There are so many amazing true stories in the world that there is no sense to use imagination and make up the story for the good movie. The film about Brian Banks is one of them and it was ready last year, but its premiere was postponed for this summer.
It’s not a secret that I like more “unusual” movies and when I say that, I don’t think about weird ones.. 🙂 Mainly, I like to see some good movies “outside the box”, or outside the Hollywood set of mind. A Hidden Life is one of that kind of movie with a great story, written and directed by a great filmmaker. At the Cannes Film Festival in 2019, the movie was the winner of the François Chalais Award, and it was nominated for the Palme d'Or.
