The King (2019) – Movie Trailer

Prince Hal had refused his royal life and went to live among the people, but when his cruel father dies, he returns and being crowned King Henry V. All things because of which he escaped to “normal” life comes back and he has to embrace with politics, chaos, and war that his father left behind…

The movie is directed and written by David Michôd, known for films like The Rover (2014), Animal Kingdom (2010) or War Machine (2017) with Brad Pitt in the main role. He had help with writing the screenplay from actor Joel Edgerton and this is the second time that they work together after the movie The Rover from 2014.

In the main roles are Academy Award nominee Timothée Chalamet (Call Me by Your Name (2017), Lady Bird (2017), Beautiful Boy (2018)), Golden Globe nominee Joel Edgerton (The Gift (2015), The Great Gatsby (2013), Loving (2016)), Sean Harris (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation (2015), Harry Brown (2009), 24 Hour Party People (2002)), Lily-Rose Depp (Tusk (2014), Yoga Hosers (2016), La danseuse (2016)), Robert Pattinson (Twilight franchise, Remember Me (2010)), Golden Globe nominee Ben Mendelsohn (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), Animal Kingdom (2010), The Dark Knight Rises (2012)) and others.
